Horizon Nua is a non-profit foundation dedicated to accelerating the adoption of nature-based solutions. We believe that radical change can only be achieved by empowering stakeholders, and we advocate for nature-based enterprises, supporting their growth and development. Our work involves collaborating with decision-makers at all levels to embed support for this fast-growing sector into sustainable economic and environmental policies.

At Horizon Nua, we are committed to driving the growth of the nature-positive economy. We collaborate with the public and private sectors, supporting businesses, governments, and others in transforming the state of nature and regenerating ecosystem services. We work towards creating a paradigm shift toward a nature-positive economy by rewriting the rule book and challenging existing norms.

Our journey began as a spin-out enterprise from the Horizon 2020-funded Connecting Nature project. Since then, we have expanded our role, supporting cities in implementing nature-based solutions and addressing bottlenecks in the supply side of the nature-positive economy. We also work with national and local governments to develop policies that foster growth and support change.
