Horoklub

Horoklub ŠK UMB Banská Bystrica is a climbing and outdoor activity club based in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. It brings together people who enjoy climbing, trekking and shared adventures, offering activities for different ages and experience levels. Its home venue is the Pavúk climbing wall, an artificial climbing facility with a variety of routes and the option to climb with an instructor providing belay support.

The club offers climbing courses for the public on indoor walls, natural rock and via ferrata routes. Its programmes include courses for adults, activities for children, and regular climbing groups for primary and secondary school students, as well as a sports climbing training group. University students at UMB can also take part in a dedicated course. Horoklub provides activity options for companies and associations, and organises club events and outdoor experiences throughout the year. Through its varied programme, the club supports opportunities to learn climbing, develop skills and enjoy active time together, whether on the climbing wall or out in nature.
