Horse Education Company (HEC) creates handmade horse halters, leads, ropes, and training tools designed around how horses learn. Since 2013, the company has developed and refined its patented Hybrid Halter®, drawing on more than a decade of experience fitting horses across sports and disciplines. HEC’s products combine practical horsemanship features with materials and designs intended to help horses understand requests and respond positively.

Its range includes soft- and stiff-rope Hybrid Halters®, leather lariat styles, and classic leather, stainless steel, nylon, synthetic leather, and economy halters. Customers can also find personalized leather halters, nameplates, replacement parts, and specialty sizes for foals and miniature horses. Rope offerings include lead ropes in several lengths, training and groundwork ropes, foal and driving lines, reins, and shanks. For training, HEC sells pocket sticks, flags, collapsible lunge whips, and horsemanship strings, alongside accessories such as fly masks, bell boots, and foaling equipment. The company serves horse owners, trainers, and riders, and is the official horse halter provider of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.
