Horse and Country is an equine and canine business based on more than 30 secure acres in South Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Its services bring together horse breeding, dog care and showing activities under the Horse and Country and Glenhugo names. The Glenhugo stud breeds American Miniature Horses, Coloured Native Horses and Small Hacks, and has two stallions and young colts. The business also breeds Glenhugo Labradors, with five generations of dogs and puppies bred from health-tested parents in field trial champion lines; three Labradors are available at stud.
Canine services include homeboarding, sports massage and breeding, alongside wedding appearances and pet visits. Horse and Country also runs an Ex Racehorse Showing series, established in 2015, and an annual September championship show featuring qualifiers and championship finals. Its showing activities welcome competitors at different levels. The business offers branded clothing for ladies and gentlemen, with Racehorse or Glenhugo Labrador designs, selectable clothing and embroidery colours, and customisable chest embroidery. It also shares information and support with customers and owners.
