The Horse and Craft Studio is a Sunshine Coast hinterland destination offering a distinctive blend of equine assisted learning, creative activities and mindful experiences. Its sessions invite people to connect with horses and other farm animals while exploring art and craft in a welcoming rural setting. No previous horse experience is needed; participants receive guidance on safety around the animals.
The studio offers group and individual Horse and Craft sessions for people of all ages, combining time with friendly horses, sheep, cows, dogs and chickens with the chance to create in a cosy studio. Neigh-Station provides children aged 6 to 12 with holiday and after-school workshops featuring craft and an introduction to equine assisted learning. UmaCha, or Tea with Horses, draws on principles of the Japanese tea ceremony to encourage calm, presence and awareness through tea and interaction with horses.
Mental Health Occupational Therapist Meike Zielinski brings more than 30 years of experience and incorporates approaches including mindfulness, CBT, relaxation, arts therapy and equine assisted learning into client sessions.
