Its main products are real-horsehair extensions for tail lengthening and thickening, along with tailpieces, forelock clip-ins and mane extensions. The brand also offers individually tailored hairpieces and guidance to help customers choose between extensions and toupees.

Its extension system uses specially developed, larger bonding rings designed for the strength and texture of horsehair. The strands are offered in different lengths and can be removed and repositioned as the tail grows. Horsehair Extensions also provides rebonding services to help restore used extensions for further use. The company states that its extension system is approved for FEI and FN competition and can be worn for many months. Customers can request a test strand with their first order, and unused, unopened products may be returned within 14 days.
