Horse Haytec Oy is a Finnish family-owned company that develops Haymatic® automated feeding solutions for horses. The idea grew from the family’s own experience: their horses needed more regular hay feeding, but free-choice hay was not suitable. Haymatic® systems are designed to provide smaller, scheduled portions, helping mimic horses’ natural pattern of eating frequently while reducing the daily work of weighing and distributing hay.
The product range includes outdoor Haymatic® hay-feeding machines in several models, supplied ready for installation and designed for horses and ponies of different sizes. Haymatic® Module lets customers create an automated feeding wall in an existing or planned building, while Haymatic® Smartkit can add automation to existing hay racks, including as a do-it-yourself package. The company describes its equipment as durable, safe and tested. Feeding-wall doors open at programmed times, supporting a regular feeding routine and giving owners more flexibility in their day. Horse Haytec also provides product support and helps customers identify a solution suited to their needs. The company is based in Jäniksenlinna, Finland.
