Horse N Soul

Horse ’N Soul is a riding academy and equestrian community in Washington, Pennsylvania, set on 118 acres of rolling countryside. The family-oriented barn welcomes beginners and experienced riders, offering a supportive environment where students can develop riding ability, horsemanship, confidence, and a deeper understanding of horses.

Its services include riding lessons in English, Western, and Dressage styles, with opportunities to ride trails and prepare for horse shows. Riders can also take part in clinics, camps, showcases, and competitions. Horse ’N Soul provides boarding, with fields, paddocks, and stalls, and emphasizes attentive care for every horse. The organization also offers equine-assisted therapy.

Beyond instruction, Horse ’N Soul presents riding as a way to build fitness, communication, patience, leadership, and connection with the outdoors. Its welcoming barn culture encourages riders and families to support one another, while providing a peaceful setting away from everyday distractions. Horse ’N Soul serves the surrounding Western Pennsylvania community from its barn on Gretna Road.
