Horse Rangers

Horse Rangers is a registered charity helping children and young people thrive through experiences with horses. Based at The Stockyard in Bushy Park, Hampton, it offers hands-on activities that build confidence, self-esteem, responsibility, social skills and lasting friendships. Its work is guided by values of safety, connection, compassion, growth and happiness, with the aim of making horses accessible to all.

The charity runs four programmes. Weekend Sessions provide practical horse learning, with progress supported by a structured badge system. Riding for the Disabled offers specialist sessions for people with physical, neurological and learning disabilities, led by qualified coaches. Stable Minds is a five-week wellbeing programme of structured, non-riding activities, while The Healing Horse provides therapeutic, ground-based sessions led by a qualified mental health practitioner.

Horse Rangers supports more than 250 children and young people, with 23 horses and ponies and over 118 volunteers. People can get involved by joining as a Ranger, volunteering, donating or sponsoring a horse.
