Horses and Memories

Horses and Memories is a small, creative brand making individually crocheted horses by hand. Its central offering is a keepsake inspired by a customer’s own beloved horse, crafted to capture that animal’s distinctive appearance and personality in a small, detailed figure. Each piece is unique and made with care, giving horse lovers a way to keep a reminder of their companion close or display it at home.

The brand grew from a family tradition of knitting and crochet. Petra first made a miniature pony as a surprise gift, followed by a small version of her daughter’s horse, Powwow. After the creations attracted interest through the Instagram account @spotted_powerhorse, the pair began making horses for friends and responding to requests from the wider community. They now work together on the handmade pieces, with Petra teaching her daughter to crochet. Horses and Memories offers its crochet horses through its online shop, alongside other small products intended to bring joy. The brand also shares updates on Instagram at @horsesandmemories.shop.
