HorseTherm Pferdethermografie is the mobile animal therapy and thermography practice of Alexandra Groß, a certified equine thermographer and animal physiotherapist working in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Based near Iserlohn, she serves clients within a 75-kilometre radius, with group appointments for several horses available farther afield by arrangement.
HorseTherm combines thermographic assessment with physiotherapy to support a holistic view of an animal’s wellbeing. Thermography is a contactless, low-risk method that uses heat and cool patterns to help identify areas of concern and monitor treatment or training. It can be used for general health checks, unexplained discomfort or lameness, muscle and ligament concerns, joint inflammation, back and saddle checks, and assessment of skin, teeth and hooves. It may also complement purchase examinations and performance optimisation.
Physiotherapy services include kinesiology taping, dry needling, sound-wave therapy, magnetically supported light therapy, laser therapy and peat therapy. Alexandra travels to stables to assess or treat horses in familiar surroundings and offers home visits for dogs. HorseTherm also provides Novafon rental and Simply Warm blanket hire.
