About HortiFresh
HortiFresh is a transformative business membership organization dedicated to the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (FFV) sector in Uganda. Our mission is to enhance the capacity of FFV value chain players to meet safety, quality, and market standards. With a vision of a sector that delivers safe and high-quality fresh produce, we strive to foster collaboration, accountability, and sustainability in the industry.
Through strategic partnerships with key government ministries and industry associations, such as UHEPA and FAUEX, we aim to streamline the sector's operations and promote self-regulation. By establishing HortiFresh as the Apex body for the sector, we aim to facilitate policy advocacy, enhance service delivery, and prepare the industry for international audits.
