The Hospice of Baton Rouge is a nonprofit organization providing end-of-life care to individuals and families across the Greater Baton Rouge metropolitan area. Serving the community since 1984, it was the city’s first hospice and is described as its only nonprofit hospice. Its mission centers on compassionate, individualized care, with services available regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

Support also extends to families after a loss through a bereavement program that continues for 13 months and may include cards, letters, phone calls, visits, and support groups.
