Hospiz Friedensberg

Hospiz Friedensberg provides compassionate support for people with serious, life-limiting illnesses and for their families and friends. Its team offers palliative nursing care and medical support, accompanying guests through the final stage of life with dignity, respect and sensitivity. The hospice’s approach is grounded in a Christian-humanist view of humanity, emphasizing human dignity, appreciation and care for others, while welcoming people regardless of their faith or worldview.

Support extends beyond clinical care to create a considerate environment for guests and those close to them. Hospiz Friedensberg works with the Oberspreewald-Lausitz outpatient hospice service, whose volunteer companions support guests and their families. The partner service also offers bereavement support. The hospice shares information about its facilities, care approach, events and job opportunities, including roles in nursing and volunteering. Donations help sustain care for guests and enable the hospice to carry out its own projects. Through professional care and personal attention, Hospiz Friedensberg seeks to make a difficult time more peaceful and meaningful for everyone involved.
