Hot Botties is a character-driven NFT project from Mint Mentality LLC, featuring a collection of 40 eccentric personalities introduced in 2021 and early 2022. Set loose in the metaverse and framed as characters looking for love, the Hot Botties combine playful, suggestive humor with quirky backstories. Their imagined occupations and obsessions range from a Greenlandic beach volleyball player and a vampire dentist to a math-minded matchmaker, a fortune teller, and an enthusiast who teaches people about Rare Pepes.
The project offers its digital collectibles for purchase on OpenSea and gives fans a way to interact with the characters: in March 2022, Hot Botties described itself as the first NFT that users could chat with on Discord, inviting the community to join and try it. The project’s roadmap documents the staged release of the full set, culminating in 40 characters.
