Houen & Hyldgaard Begravelsesforretning is a local funeral home based in Hjørring, Denmark, supporting families through the practical arrangements and personal decisions that follow a death. The team serves Hjørring and surrounding areas, including Hirtshals, Vrå, Løkken, Sindal and Tårs. Its approach centres on attentive listening, understanding, respect and helping relatives feel safe and supported during a difficult time.

The funeral home can assist with planning a funeral or cremation and arranging a meaningful ceremony for a final farewell. Support may include contacting authorities and clergy, choosing a coffin or urn, arranging flowers and a memorial stone, and organising a gathering afterwards. Families can request help with the full process or only selected tasks, according to their wishes and needs. The business has an on-site display of coffins in different wood types and designs, and offers a range of urns, including options that can be decorated. Consultations can take place at the funeral home, in a family’s home or by telephone.
