About House of One
House of One is a unique brand that aims to foster interreligious dialogue and understanding. Since 2011, Jews, Christians, and Muslims have come together in Berlin to build a house that houses a synagogue, a church, and a mosque under one roof. This sacred space also serves as a center for prayer, interdisciplinary study, and the exchange of ideas between people of different faiths.
It is designed to offer a place for individuals to retreat and pray in their own traditions, as well as to encourage interactions and learning among different religious communities. The project was initiated by an evangelical church, a Jewish community, and a Muslim dialogue initiative, all driven by a grassroots effort. The House of One is located in Berlin's historic Petriplatz, symbolizing a hopeful new beginning in the city's complex history.
You can support this inspiring project by purchasing symbolic stones or starting your own fundraising campaign. Join House of One in promoting peace, understanding, and cooperation among different religions
