Housing Europe is the European Federation of Public, Cooperative, and Social Housing. Established in 1988, it is a network of 46 national and regional federations, representing approximately 43,000 housing providers from 25 countries. Together, these providers manage around 25 million homes.

Housing Europe envisions a Europe that offers access to decent and affordable housing for all, in socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable communities. They go beyond providing affordable homes and offer a range of services, including domiciliary care and support for residents with specific needs, additional services for tenants such as kindergartens and community centers, employment and training services, financial advice, neighborhood services, and the management of other types of sheltered accommodation. They are also involved in urban development and regeneration projects.

With a significant impact, Housing Europe oversees 43,000 local housing organizations, maintains nearly 25 million dwellings, completes around 200,000 new dwellings each year, refurbishes over 200,000 dwellings annually, and facilitates approximately €40 billion in new investments yearly. Their network employs more than 7,500 staff directly and supports over 300,000 staff employed by local housing providers.
