Houtman Landscapes

Houtman Landscapes is a landscape design business based in Woodvale, Perth, Western Australia. It takes a holistic approach to creating outdoor spaces, considering clients’ budgets, property value, practical needs and personal style, alongside environmental factors such as sun, wind and rain. The business works with residential clients, including new-build, renovation, subdivision and first-home projects, as well as commercial clients. Designs are tailored to the household and may account for accessibility, sensory needs, pets and children. Where useful, Houtman Landscapes provides 3D images and fly-throughs to help clients understand the proposed garden.

Services extend beyond design to include hard and soft landscaping, installation, project management, facade reviews and garden maintenance. The business aims to involve clients in shaping and delivering their projects, including incorporating their practical skills where appropriate. Its founder, Jeané Joyce, brings a background in landscape architecture, quantity surveying and construction project cost management. Houtman Landscapes offers a free initial consultation to discuss requirements and develop a shared understanding before work proceeds.
