Høvleriet Barnehage AS is a childcare centre in Halden, Norway, and part of the TDM Barnehager group. Its approach places children at the centre of daily life, aiming to provide attentive care in an environment where each child feels safe, noticed and supported. The kindergarten describes its goals as helping children find calm and harmony, make friends, develop social skills, and take on challenges that support their motor and cognitive development.

The centre is organised into several groups: Tømmerstokken, Saga, Høvelen, Smia and Flisa. Families can explore its facilities through a 3D virtual tour and learn more about the kindergarten through its annual plan, statutes and information about staff and departments. Høvleriet Barnehage also provides information for families seeking a place and invites parents to contact the centre with questions. It is located at Peder Ankersgate 18, 1771 Halden. The kindergarten’s stated ethos is to promote freedom and joy in a positive environment, while working to help parents feel confident that their child is receiving suitable care and opportunities to learn and grow.
