Association HPN France

HPN France – Aplasie Médullaire is a French nonprofit association founded in 2004 by young patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Run entirely by volunteers, it supports people affected by paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and idiopathic aplastic anemia, as well as their loved ones. Its work focuses on improving understanding of these rare blood disorders, encouraging research, and helping patients navigate everyday challenges.

The association provides accessible health information about diseases and treatments through articles, videos, and educational resources. It connects patients and families through an online discussion forum, social gatherings, and patient events, and offers practical guidance on administrative, social, legal, workplace, disability, and retirement matters. It also supports fundraising for research and raises awareness of blood, platelet, and bone marrow donation. In addition, the association can guide members seeking insurance for home loans through a specialist brokerage partnership. HPN France – Aplasie Médullaire collaborates with the MaRIH rare-disease healthcare network and is a member of the Alliance Maladies Rares, contributing to wider communication and advocacy for people affected by rare diseases.
