About HeadQuarters Kansas
Kansas Suicide Prevention HQ (KSPHQ) is dedicated to providing support, education, and crisis services to the people of Kansas. Founded in 1969, the organization has been at the forefront of pioneering crisis and counseling services, as well as advocating for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. KSPHQ offers a variety of services, including crisis counseling, training, policy advocacy, and public awareness campaigns. They also operate a peer-to-peer support line for Kansas youths 18 and under.
To support their vital work, KSPHQ invites individuals to get involved by donating, volunteering, or participating in their various initiatives. With a focus on creating safer communities and supporting mental health resilience, KSPHQ aims to ensure that every Kansan has access to the connections and resources they need to live healthy and hopeful lives.
For anyone in need of immediate assistance, KSPHQ offers free and confidential crisis support through a local crisis line, the national Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and an online chat service. With a commitment to reducing suicide and promoting mental health, KSPHQ is a crucial resource for the people of Kansas.
