Hrad Pecka is a unique architectural monument located in the heart of the Podkrkonoší and Krkonoše region. It is the only accessible historical site in the entire area, offering breathtaking views of the Krkonoše mountain range. The castle, originally built in the Gothic style during the 13th and 14th centuries, was later reconstructed into a Renaissance chateau.

Unfortunately, it suffered a fire in 1830 and fell into disrepair. Throughout the 20th century, extensive renovations were carried out, resulting in the full accessibility of the western palace and extensive cellars through two guided tours. The castle is famously associated with the renowned explorer, writer, and composer Kryštof Harant from Polžice and Bezdružice.
