About Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum
The Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum is a coalition of twenty-two human rights non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Zimbabwe. Together, they work towards promoting and protecting human rights in the country. While each member organization has its own specific objectives, they all share a common goal of addressing the level and nature of organized violence and human rights violations in Zimbabwe.
The Forum conducts extensive research, documentation, and advocacy to raise awareness about human rights issues in Zimbabwe. They also provide legal resources, counselling services, and support to individuals and communities affected by human rights abuses. Additionally, the Forum actively engages in transitional justice initiatives and public interest matters.
By collaborating with other NGOs and international organizations like Amnesty International and Transparency International, the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum plays a vital role in advocating for justice, peace, and equality in Zimbabwe. Through their efforts, they strive to create a society that respects and upholds the rights of all individuals, regardless of their background
