About 国際人権NGOヒューマンライツ・ナウ Human Rights Now
Human Rights Now (HRN) is a Japan-based international human rights NGO. Founded in 2006, HRN brings together professionals in the field of human rights, including lawyers, researchers, journalists, and citizens, to work towards eliminating ongoing human rights abuses worldwide. Guided by internationally established human rights standards, HRN strives for a just world with no conflicts or human rights violations, transcending borders and focusing on ending such violations from Japan.
The organization supports the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligns its activities with these goals to create a sustainable and inclusive society where no one is left behind. With offices in Tokyo, Osaka, New York, Geneva, and Yangon, HRN operates in Japan, China, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. Through various initiatives, HRN aims to create a future where human rights are cherished, and they welcome support and contributions from individuals and organizations to help build this future
