Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) is a private foundation in Germany dedicated to improving livelihoods and protecting nature and the environment. Since 2005, HRNS has been actively supporting smallholder coffee farmer families in coffee regions across the globe, including countries like Indonesia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Brazil, Honduras, and Guatemala.

In addition to its work in coffee regions, HRNS has also been providing support to youth organizations in Northern Germany since 2016. HRNS operates as an independent non-profit organization with a Board of Trustees consisting of renowned experts in various fields. The foundation implements projects aimed at empowering smallholder families and enabling them to achieve better livelihoods.

Through collaborations with private and public partners, including foundations, government agencies, and coffee companies, HRNS maximizes the impact of its projects and supports local leadership. HRNS is deeply connected to the communities it serves, often seen as a family member by the smallholder families. The foundation's global team is dedicated to creating positive change and working towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
