About Hrvatsko sociološko društvo
Hrvatsko sociološko društvo (HSD) is a society dedicated to promoting excellence in sociological research and practice since 1918. Our mission is to develop sociological knowledge, encourage the exchange of ideas, and highlight the importance of sociology in understanding social changes. Through our projects, such as congresses that showcase the latest research and ideas in sociology, we provide a platform for experts and researchers to connect, exchange thoughts, and foster collaboration.
As the publisher of journals like Revija za sociologiju and co-publisher of Socijalna ekologija and Polemos, we support the dissemination of sociological knowledge. Our initiatives, like the Rudi Supek Award, recognize outstanding contributions to sociology.
