The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is a compassionate organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets. Through their commitment to compassion, generosity, and ingenuity, they have achieved remarkable accomplishments in 2022. They have found forever homes for countless homeless pets, distributed pounds of pet food and supplies through their Pet Pantry, and their dedicated volunteers have spent numerous hours walking dogs and socializing cats.

At the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, you can find your perfect match and adopt a dog or a cat. They offer a wide range of programs, services, and resources to support pet owners, including dog training, kids summer camps, pet-assisted therapy, and a pet loss support group. They also provide community spay/neuter programs, COVID-19 assistance, and financial assistance for veterinary care.

To further support their mission, you can donate, foster, volunteer, or shop at their Thrifty Tails Boutique, where you can find a variety of merchandise. They also offer a 'Stay R’Overnight' program for pets and have a Kibble into Cash Program. With two locations in Truckee and South Lake Tahoe, the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is dedicated to serving the community and ensuring the well-being of animals.
