Hill Top Log Home Solutions LLC is a locally trusted provider of residential log-home care and restoration, serving communities across Minnesota’s Lake Vermilion region and nearby areas. Formerly known as Hill Top Painting & Log Restoration, the company has rebranded to focus exclusively on log-home services and no longer offers painting.

Its restoration process includes abrasive media blasting, using ultra-fine recycled glass to remove old stain, followed by a high-quality, multi-coat staining system when requested. The team also stains wood siding, decks, stairs, and railings, and provides maintenance coats. Other services include caulking and chinking to help protect log seams, reduce drafts, and guard against moisture; minor rot repair using wood epoxy or log resurfacing, with borate treatment; and thermal scanning and blower-door testing to identify air leaks and energy loss. Hill Top offers yearly Cabin Care services and maintenance plans, including stain maintenance coats every four to five years. The company does not provide full-log replacement. Its service area includes Lake Vermilion, Tower, Cook, Ely, and surrounding Minnesota communities.
