As een van die oudste en grootste tegniese skole in die land, is HTS Drostdy ‘n tuiste vir leerders en ouers wat wyd dink en groot droom oor die toekoms. Hoë standaarde, toegewyde personeel, goeie waardes en dissipline is die skool se fondasie.By HTS Drostdy glo ons dat betrokke leerders ook gelukkige leerders is. Die skool is uniek in dié opsig dat dit ‘n tegniese studierigting, sowel as ‘n algemene studierigting aanbied wat ons kinders toerus, nie net met puik vakkennis nie, maar ook leer om saam te staan, te fokus, vas te byt en goed gebalanseerd te wees. Kleiner klasse dra by tot ‘n intieme atmosfeer vir elke seun en dogter. Ons streef daarna om beginselvaste, doelgerigte jongmense op te lei wat die eise van die moderne samelewing kan trompop loop en ‘n sukses daarvan kan maak. Skoolgaan moet egter ook pret wees. Elke Drostdyer moet met reg kan sê: “Ek is ‘n trotse Donkie, ‘n Donkie wat vir mense omgee.”
