Hub de Transición Energética

The Hub of Energy Transition is a Latin American community and information platform that promotes understanding of the region’s energy transition. Bringing together young people, professionals, and educators, it supports a transition that is fair, inclusive, and grounded in evidence. Its resources help people explore energy issues, connect knowledge with local experience, and participate in informed decision-making.

The Hub offers country energy profiles with comparable data on energy mixes, emissions, consumption, electricity generation, policies, and governance. Interactive maps and charts make regional indicators easier to explore, while its Chile energy map provides information on the location, capacity, and characteristics of major energy facilities. Visitors can also use an accessible energy glossary, read articles about communities and local projects, and access learning sessions, documents, and reports through the regional Energy Transition Academy for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Through publications, educational content, campaigns, and collaborative spaces, the Hub addresses challenges such as unequal energy access, fossil fuel dependence, misinformation, and limited public participation.
