About HUDEFO
HUDEFO (Human Dignity and Environmental Care Foundation) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting and improving the environment in Tanzania. With a population of 60 million, Tanzania is grappling with unprecedented environmental degradation and the impacts of climate change. HUDEFO aims to address this by engaging the community in protecting and conserving the environment while also addressing the social and economic impacts.
Their mission is to raise awareness about climate change, environment conservation (marine/forest), waste management, gender-based violence, and plastic pollution in the ocean. They achieve this through sustainable products, education, training, and advocating for policy changes that are favorable to the environment.
