About HUDScores

HUD Scores is an independent website that makes federal inspection records for HUD-assisted housing easier to search. Users can look up a property or public housing development by name to find its latest NSPIRE inspection score, inspection dates, and available REAC score history. The site brings together records for 60,462 HUD-inspected properties, including 42,130 assisted multifamily properties and 18,332 public housing developments, as well as information on 3,149 housing authorities. Its database contains 329,924 NSPIRE-era scores and historical inspection records, with REAC results reaching back to 2000.

Property pages provide a single URL for a development’s scored record, helping tenants, journalists, and prospective buyers access the same published federal data. Visitors can also browse properties by state and consult educational resources explaining NSPIRE scores, the transition from REAC, failing results, inspection frequency, and how to check inspection outcomes. HUD Scores says its information is republished from HUD USER physical inspection datasets and HUD.gov multifamily inspection reports.
