Hufbeschlag Raganyi

Robert Raganyi is a state-certified and officially recognized farrier based in Höchstädt, Germany. Working independently since May 2014, he provides professional hoof care and hoof protection for horses. His training includes a farrier preparation course at Schwaiganger, following an apprenticeship as a plant mechanic and further study at BOS Hof.

Raganyi’s work focuses on maintaining healthy hooves and correcting hoof imbalances before they place undue strain on a horse’s tendons, ligaments, and joints. His approach reflects the importance of regular, expert care: domesticated horses do not naturally cover the same distances or encounter the conditions that help keep wild horses’ hooves healthy, while hoof horn grows continuously. Proper trimming and protection can support comfort, resilience, and soundness, including for horses facing demanding activities such as show jumping and eventing. The site also provides information about horse domestication, hoof health, and preventive care, alongside details about his service area and contact options. Raganyi serves clients from his base at Witzlebensmühle 1 in Höchstädt.
