Hufprofi

Hufprofi is a mobile, independent horse-boot consultancy based in Burgthann, serving horse owners within approximately 50 kilometres and offering a drive-in service for visitors. Founded on Peer Reichert’s extensive experience testing and fitting hoof boots, the service helps owners choose suitable hoof protection as an alternative to conventional horseshoes, where appropriate. Advice is tailored to each horse’s hoof shape, movement, breed and the owner’s needs.

Consultations at the owner’s stable include photographic documentation, measurement of hoof geometry, assessment and fitting of suitable boots, and practical guidance on use. Hufprofi also supplies hoof boots and accessories. Its selection includes models from brands such as Swiss Galoppers, Equine Fusion and Easyboot, among others, and the adviser tests new products to stay informed about the market. The service is intended for owners considering hoof protection due to wear, sensitive soles, challenging terrain or the cost of regular shoeing. Hufprofi’s aim is to support horses in living barefoot throughout their lives when their individual needs allow.
