Franziska Hauenstein is an independent mobile farrier serving horse owners in the Canton of Aargau and neighbouring cantons. A qualified Hufschmiedin EFZ, she completed a four-year apprenticeship and has worked in the profession since 2016. Her services include barefoot hoof care and traditional and plastic horseshoe fitting for leisure, sport and therapy horses.
Hauenstein visits horses at their stables, bringing the equipment needed for careful hoof work. She adapts each service to the horse’s individual needs, taking its housing, use and health into account. Her approach combines technical knowledge and experience with calm, precise handling and respect for both animals and their owners. Reliability and punctuality are important parts of her work, and she is also available for emergencies.
Whether a horse needs routine trimming or a suitable shoeing option, Hauenstein aims to support healthy hooves and comfortable movement through personal, attentive care. Based in Rüfenach, she welcomes enquiries from horse owners seeking mobile hoof care in Aargau and nearby areas.
