HUGO e.V. organizes the Hugenottenmarkt, a community street festival in Friedrichsdorf in the Taunus region. The annual event brings residents and visitors together for a lively program of music, performances, food, drinks, arts and crafts, and family activities. Live acts perform across two stages, with music ranging from soul, funk, rock and pop to country and acoustic sets. The program also includes dance, martial arts demonstrations, children’s activities, and a community church service.

Visitors can browse food stalls serving options such as burgers, grilled specialties, vegan dishes, langos, fish, crêpes, tapas and fresh coffee, alongside stands offering wine, cocktails, beer and other refreshments. The arts and crafts area features handmade jewelry, wooden goods, soaps, floristry and clothing. Children can enjoy activities including a funfair carousel and a festival treasure hunt. Run by a volunteer organizing team, the Hugenottenmarkt also welcomes community and business support, new members, and applications from prospective participants.
