La Dégust’ par l’Huître DoRê is an oyster producer and tasting destination in Ars-en-Ré, on the Île de Ré. Set within the marshes of the Domaine du Grand Garçon, the business invites visitors to discover premium oysters raised and refined in its natural oyster beds. Its 4.

5 hectares of ponds benefit from the local water and growing conditions, while the Roll’Oyster process recreates the effects of the tide to help produce firm, flavourful oysters. DoRê oysters are described as fleshy and crisp, with a subtle, lightly sweet hazelnut taste and a delicate briny finish. The range includes three lines, available for tasting on site or to take away.

Customers can also order directly, collect from the Ars-en-Ré site or a pickup point in Périgny, and arrange delivery across France. The venue offers indoor and outdoor spaces and can be reserved for private occasions, business gatherings and team events.
