HuK

HuK – Haushaltshilfe und Kinderbetreuung is a local support service based in Neu Wulmstorf, serving the surrounding area within approximately 25 kilometres. It helps individuals and families manage everyday responsibilities during illness, recovery after surgery or an accident, pregnancy, after childbirth, and in older age. Services include household assistance, family and maternal support, childcare, senior support, cleaning, and other practical help.

Household staff can work independently or follow clients’ instructions, taking care of tasks such as laundry, cleaning, cooking, shopping, pet care, and garden assistance. They can also accompany clients to medical appointments, government offices, events, or walks. HuK’s particular focus is combining household help with childcare, with staff supporting families with children of any number and offering help around pregnancy and birth complications.

Support can be arranged as a one-time service or on a recurring basis, and the team is often available at short notice. HuK helps clients explore funding options, including potential coverage by health insurers or other organisations, and can bill funders directly.
