Hukka

Hukka Design is a small family-owned company based in Tuupovaara, eastern Finland, with more than 40 years of experience making products from soapstone formed around 2.8 billion years ago. Inspired by the forests and lakes of the region, the company combines nature-led design with specialised production techniques, manufacturing approximately 250,000 products each year.

Its range is organised into three main collections. Hukka Sauna offers soapstone accessories designed to complement the sauna experience. Hukka Wellness includes products for relaxation and therapy, such as eye stones and facial massage tools. Hukka Gourmet features items for cooking and serving, including products for grilling, baking, heating, cooling and chilling drinks. The company also makes decorative and other lifestyle products.

Soapstone’s density allows it to retain heat or cold effectively, while the material is also suitable for food use because it does not impart odours or flavours. Hukka Design emphasises durability, careful craftsmanship and quality, bringing together traditional expertise and modern manufacturing technology.
