Hula Charters

Hula Charters offers light-tackle fishing trips from Old Harbor on Block Island, Rhode Island, aboard the Hula Dog. Led by Captain Matt King, a USCG-licensed captain with more than 24 years of experience on the island, the charter takes anglers to local waters known for seasonal fishing. Target species include striped bass, bluefish, sea bass, fluke, bonito, and false albacore; offshore trips may pursue mahi-mahi and bluefin tuna when conditions bring them closer.

Guests can choose from two-, three-, four-, and five-hour outings, with morning and afternoon departures available on selected trips. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and ice are included. The trips are suited to anglers seeking focused fishing, a quick introduction to Block Island, or a longer outing.
