About HUMANA
Humana is a brand that goes beyond offering beautiful secondhand clothing and affordable prices. They are a social business that creates value for both people and the environment. Through their concept of Social Business, they aim to make a positive impact by promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
One of their initiatives is the establishment of Farmers' Clubs in 14 countries worldwide. These small cooperatives provide education and training to 50 farmers each, focusing on sustainable agriculture, hygiene, health, and other life skills to improve rural living. So far, 85,000 families of small farmers have benefited from these clubs.
Humana's Children's Aid program aims to pave the way for a better future for children. They believe that in order to achieve this, children need loving families with sufficient income, a clean environment, confident and strong mothers, and the support of the entire village community. They pay special attention to the most vulnerable, such as girls, orphans, and the disabled.
Additionally, Humana is involved in training primary school teachers in India and African countries. By addressing the lack of infrastructure, qualified teachers, and poverty, they strive for Education for All. Visiting their stores and donating clothes not only helps reduce carbon emissions but also supports their mission.
Humana believes in the value and uniqueness of secondhand clothing and aims to give each piece a second chance to be worn and appreciated. For more information about Humana, their branches, and their progress report, visit their website
