Humans of Dublin is a brand created by Peter Varga, an author, photographer, and social media creator. Originally from Budapest, Peter moved to Dublin at the age of 19. Over the past five years, he has approached thousands of people on the streets of Dublin and beyond, documenting their stories and posting over 2,000 of them on his page.
In 2016, Peter published a bestselling book under the same name and curated multiple exhibitions. His collaborations with some of the biggest brands in Ireland have made his page renowned for raising awareness on pressing issues faced by Ireland today.
Beyond storytelling, Peter has made significant contributions to charitable causes, raising thousands of euros for organizations such as Pieta House, Focus Ireland, Childhood Cancer Foundation, and more. He has also played a role in changing legislation on supervised injection facilities in Ireland and has found new homes for numerous animals through his collaboration with the DSPCA.
