Humboldt Re Limited, a company domiciled and licensed in Guernsey since 2015, is a prominent brand in the insurance industry. However, as of 1 January 2021, Humboldt Re will no longer be underwriting new business. This decision was made by the ultimate Shareholder and the Board of Directors as they review strategic options for the ultimate shareholder to unwind its investment.

The company remains committed to meeting all of its obligations in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, under the supervision of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
