About Humboldt Redwoods
The Humboldt Redwoods Interpretive Association (HRIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing visitor centers and valuable resources at four State Parks in Humboldt County, California. With a mission to connect visitors and the community to the incredible redwood forests, HRIA offers information about hikes, directions, ecology, history, as well as maps, brochures, books, and souvenirs. As the largest old-growth contiguous redwood forest in the world, Humboldt Redwoods State Park spans over 53,000 acres and features the majestic ancient redwood groves.
Visitors can explore the park's 100 miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails, and take a scenic drive along the 32-mile Avenue of the Giants. The park also offers 250 campsites for overnight stays. HRIA also operates visitor centers at Richardson Grove State Park, Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, and Sinkyone Wilderness State Park, offering opportunities to explore and appreciate the beauty of the redwood forests in Humboldt County.
