Hummelstown Cemetery

Hummelstown Cemetery Association is a locally owned, nonprofit community cemetery serving Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, since 1859. Located near the town center, its 26-acre grounds provide a peaceful final resting place and are maintained with a focus on ongoing care. The cemetery offers burial spaces in a variety of locations, burial openings, and perpetual care, with costs supported by site sales and private donations. Thousands of spaces are available, and the grounds are the resting place of nearly 7,000 people, spanning generations from the Revolutionary War era to the present.

The association also maintains a dedicated pet cemetery, recognizing the place animals hold in family life. Its burial-site resources help visitors learn about people interred there, and the organization welcomes community contributions to expand photographs and biographical information. Hummelstown Cemetery honors more than 835 identified veterans, whose graves are marked according to their service records, and shares available service histories. The association also offers support to the community, including free burial plots in certain cases for infants and veterans.
