Hummingbird Festival

The Hogansville Hummingbird Festival is an annual fall celebration held in downtown Hogansville, Georgia, bringing together residents and visitors for a weekend of arts, culture, music, and community. Founded in 1998, the festival has grown from a grassroots gathering into one of West Georgia’s anticipated events, attracting thousands of people to the historic small town. Its third-weekend-in-October program features hundreds of vendors selling handmade arts and crafts, regional food, live music, and activities for children, alongside the Southern hospitality that defines the event.

The festival also serves a charitable purpose. Proceeds benefit the Hogansville Charitable Trust, a nonprofit organization focused on improving the community and residents’ quality of life. Funding supports local projects, including the restoration of historic landmarks and community programs. Visitors can take part by exploring the festival, shopping with vendors, and enjoying food and entertainment, while contributing to Hogansville’s future.
