Hummingbird High is a popular brand founded by Michelle, a talented baker, blogger, and photographer. Michelle started the blog as a way to share her recipes with friends and escape the monotony of her corporate job. Little did she know, her blog would grow into a thriving community of over 100,000 aspiring bakers and dessert enthusiasts.

The journey began in 2011 when Michelle moved to Denver, Colorado, facing the challenge of baking at high altitude. Determined to overcome this obstacle, she started a blog to document her experiments with adapting recipes from her favorite cookbook, The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook, to work at high altitude. Through trial and error, Michelle developed a deep understanding of the chemistry behind baking, making her an expert in creating consistent and delicious results.

Now based in Portland, Oregon, Michelle continues to share her original recipes and meticulously tested tips through Hummingbird High. The blog is a comprehensive resource for bakers of all levels, offering detailed instructions, troubleshooting advice, and time-saving tips. With a dedication to helping others achieve baking success, Hummingbird High has become a trusted source for delicious treats.

Welcome to Michelle's happy place, where you can find inspiration and guidance for your baking adventures
