Hummingbot

Hummingbot Foundation is a not-for-profit organization based in the Cayman Islands. With a mission to democratize high-frequency trading, they maintain the open-source Hummingbot code repository and the HBOT governance system. Hummingbot, the leading open source market making bot, is utilized by token projects, smaller trading firms, and individual traders looking to earn liquidity mining rewards.

Evolving from a simple market making bot, Hummingbot has now become a powerful open source platform that allows users to create, backtest, deploy, and manage a fleet of bots running any algo trading strategy. Their main repositories include hummingbot, a Python-based core trading engine, gateway, a Typescript-based middleware for connecting to DEXs and blockchain networks, and dashboard, a Streamlit-based tool for backtesting, deploying, and managing Hummingbot instances. By sponsoring Hummingbot Foundation on Github, you can help support their goal of leveling the playing field in crypto algo trading and maintaining these free and open-source tools.

The foundation has a dedicated staff and a Board of Directors overseeing their operations, ensuring transparency and adherence to their core principles. Improve your trading experience with Hummingbot and become a part of the growing community
