About Humor Hilft Heilen
Humor Hilft Heilen is a nonprofit organization that focuses on enriching the caregiving experience through the power of humor and positive human interaction. Their project "TransForCare" offers training programs in digital transformation for professionals in the ambulatory and inpatient elderly care in Bavaria. The initiative aims to empower caregivers with essential skills and personal development, including the use of humor in caregiving.
Led by HUMOR HILFT HEILEN-Humortrainerin Mirjam Avellis, the program provides insights into incorporating humor into the daily caregiving routine, emphasizing the importance of self-care and the positive impact of humor on both caregivers and those receiving care. Recognized as a mandatory 24-hour training for practice instructors by the Bavarian Association of Nurses, TransForCare is funded by the European Social Fund. The training sessions are conducted online, enabling participants to join from any location.
